Ya know, we start the journey to warm weather with our Fat Tuesday celebration, why not end with a party as we head into the Fall? It’s been a minute since we’ve been back to Racine, WI, the stomping grounds of our legendary sax man Nolan Thomas. But man are we excited. We’ll be at the historic George’s Encore in downtown Racine near the lake. “Established in 1946, this old-school watering hole is known for its live entertainment and recently added kitchen serving brisket, BBQ, and more.” Grab some food, grab a drink, and enjoy some NOLA sounds with Brew City style.

Back to have some fun in South Milwaukee this Summer! We’re gracing the opening spot at this year’s South Milwaukee Lionsfest, noon-3pm on Saturday July 27th. Delicious food, games and rides, and live music all day. Come on through and stay a while! The fest is located at 16th Avenue and Rawson in South Milwaukee, partnered with Milwaukee County Parks.

Celebrating our very own sousa player and his father’s business, Michelotti Engraving, at one of our favorite Mt. Prospect haunts the Red Barn. Private party festivities until 8pm, but after that all are welcome to check out the hottest brass north of NOLA!
